Update of the past couple of days-Sightings:still 0

Okay, so I haven't updated in a while, and for that I'm really sorry!! I'm really bad at remembering to update these sorts of things, so I'll really try to get better!! Okay, so I've now started school-my school's name is Taipei Municipal Li Shan Senior High School, and I take classes with the second years (Canadian equivalent would be Grade 11). My school's campus is pretty big....there are three school buildings, a gym, a swimming pool, and a central clock tower building that I have no idea what's inside there. One of these days I will go exploring. Anyways, my school is known for being good at math and science, but I've been put in a social science track class, which I am extremely grateful for. My classmates still take math and science-however I do not have to take these classes, I think. I wasn't given the textbooks for these classes, so I'm pretty sure I'm not taking them. The subjects I am taking (meaning I have textbooks for them) are English, Chinese, History, Geography, Civics(that's the best way to describe this course), Gym, Music, Art, and National Defense. This course is basically like Cadets, I mean we're taught how to properly stand in the military and stuff, and next semester my classmates have told me we're going to be taught how to shoot a gun (which I am weirdly super excited about!!). I also go to Chinese language class on Mondays and Thursdays. Also, all second years in my school do these Research Projects, in which they pick a particular subject they are interested in and for basically all of Thursday afternoon they focus completely on this subject. Me and the German girl, Constanze, who is also at my school, have been put in the English class for this-we basically help the teacher. Anyways, I really enjoy my school, since all of my classmates are really nice and friendly! They took me to the Shida Night Market a couple of days ago, as well as to see a music/art/design exhibition, which was really interesting. I've also been exploring more of Taipei with the other exchange students-about a week ago, we all went to the zoo, and a couple of us went to Ximending(the big shopping district) to explore and stuff. All in all, I've been having a lot of fun, and that's probably one of the reasons why I haven't really updated this blog, but I'll try harder to update this as often as I can!! Thanks everyone! Until next time!!
